The Quiroz family has been growing cocoa for 3 generations for over 50 years.

In the early 60s, the family left the Cajas in highlands Ecuadorian Anes and moved to a tropical area in the country without electricity and roads where one moved only on horseback or by canoe along the rivers. During those years, the family have bought a small piece of land and began to grow coffee and cacao and has a land size of about 50 hectares till date.
